Storybook Bible Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Storybook Bible websites, mobile applications, educational experiences, story libraries, interactive features, AI-assisted tools, reader profiles, downloadable content, and related services.
For purposes of these Terms, “Storybook Bible,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to SparkTales Inc., a company based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and “you” or “user” refers to anyone who accesses or uses the services, including parents, guardians, educators, institutions, and readers.
If you downloaded a Storybook Bible application from the Apple App Store, the End User License Agreement also applies to that application. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Storybook Bible, you agree to these Terms and any additional terms, policies, or guidelines that apply to specific features.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use Storybook Bible.
If you are using Storybook Bible on behalf of a child, student, classroom, school, organization, or other institution, you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
2. About Storybook Bible
Storybook Bible creates AI-enhanced educational storytelling experiences designed to bring meaningful stories, historical narratives, religious and cultural texts, mythology, literature, and learning experiences to life through reading, visual content, activities, maps, encyclopedic exploration, and interactive tools.
Storybook Bible may include, among other things:
- Story reading experiences.
- Educational story collections.
- Reader profiles.
- Downloadable stories or assets.
- Progress tracking.
- Activities, quizzes, games, and learning tools.
- Maps, timelines, encyclopedic pages, and 3D or visual exploration.
- AI-assisted personalization, content generation, summaries, explanations, or recommendations.
- Parent, family, educator, or classroom controls.
Storybook Bible is designed to support learning and discovery. It is not intended to replace adult supervision, professional instruction, religious guidance, legal advice, medical advice, psychological advice, or formal educational judgment.
3. Eligibility and Use by Children
Storybook Bible may be used by families, educators, students, and institutions.
Children should use Storybook Bible only with appropriate involvement from a parent, guardian, educator, school, or authorized institution, especially where accounts, reader profiles, downloads, progress tracking, or AI-assisted features are used.
Where required by law, we may require parental, guardian, educator, school, or institutional consent before allowing certain features to be used by children.
You agree not to create an account, submit information, or allow a child to use Storybook Bible in a way that violates applicable law, school policy, parental consent requirements, or institutional requirements.
4. Accounts
Some Storybook Bible features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep account information up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account, except where the activity results from Storybook Bible’ failure to use reasonable security measures.
You must notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
We may suspend or restrict access to accounts that appear to violate these Terms, create security risks, misuse the services, or violate applicable law.
5. Reader Profiles
Storybook Bible may allow parents, guardians, educators, or account holders to create reader profiles. Reader profiles may be used to organize:
- Age-aware reading experiences.
- Reading progress.
- Story recommendations.
- Downloaded stories.
- Activity results.
- Family or classroom settings.
- Accessibility preferences.
- Content maturity or reading-level preferences.
Reader profiles are designed to help organize the learning experience. They should not be used to submit sensitive personal information unless specifically requested and necessary for the service.
6. Educational Content
Storybook Bible content is provided for educational, informational, creative, and personal enrichment purposes.
Storybook Bible may include stories inspired by religious texts, historical events, mythology, traditional stories, public domain literature, cultural material, and other educational sources. While we aim to create respectful and accurate educational experiences, content may be simplified, adapted, dramatized, summarized, translated, or presented for learning purposes.
You understand that:
- Storybook Bible may adapt source material for readability, age suitability, or interactive presentation.
- Some content may involve interpretation, summarization, or dramatization.
- Historical, cultural, religious, and literary topics may have multiple interpretations.
- Educational content should be reviewed by adults, educators, institutions, or appropriate subject-matter reviewers where accuracy, sensitivity, or doctrine matters.
Storybook Bible does not guarantee that all content will be complete, error-free, or suitable for every reader.
7. AI-Assisted Features
Storybook Bible may use artificial intelligence to help generate, adapt, recommend, summarize, translate, explain, illustrate, or personalize educational experiences.
AI-assisted outputs may vary and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, biased, outdated, or unsuitable for a particular age group or context. You should review AI-assisted outputs before relying on them, sharing them, or presenting them to children, students, classrooms, or institutions.
You agree not to use AI-assisted features to create, upload, request, or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, exploitative, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, infringing, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate.
Storybook Bible may limit, filter, moderate, review, or block prompts, outputs, or interactions to support safety, quality, legal compliance, and age-appropriate use.
8. Downloads and Offline Access
Storybook Bible may allow users to download stories, images, activities, models, or other content for offline or in-app use.
Downloaded content is licensed, not sold. Your ability to access downloaded content may depend on your account status, subscription status, device, app version, region, or availability of the service.
You may not extract, copy, redistribute, sell, scrape, reverse engineer, or use downloaded content outside Storybook Bible unless we expressly permit it.
We may update, remove, replace, restrict, or disable downloaded content if needed for legal, safety, licensing, technical, or product reasons.
9. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Payments
Storybook Bible may offer free, paid, trial, subscription, family, classroom, institutional, or promotional access plans.
If payments are offered, pricing, billing cycles, renewal terms, cancellation rights, and refund rules will be disclosed at purchase or through the applicable app store, payment processor, or subscription platform.
If you purchase through Apple, Google, Stripe, or another third-party payment provider, your purchase may also be governed by that provider’s terms, billing rules, refund policies, and account settings.
Unless otherwise stated, paid access continues until canceled. Deleting the app may not cancel a subscription.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Storybook Bible only for lawful, respectful, educational, personal, family, classroom, or institution-approved purposes.
You may not:
- Use Storybook Bible for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or exploitative purposes.
- Attempt to access accounts, systems, data, content, or features without authorization.
- Interfere with, disrupt, overload, scrape, crawl, reverse engineer, or compromise the services.
- Submit or request harmful, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, abusive, harassing, or exploitative content.
- Submit personal information about children or students unless you have authority to do so.
- Use Storybook Bible to infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights.
- Circumvent age controls, safety filters, content restrictions, subscription controls, or security protections.
- Use Storybook Bible outputs to mislead others about historical, religious, educational, or factual matters.
- Use Storybook Bible for high-stakes decision-making.
- Copy, resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit Storybook Bible content without permission.
11. User Content
Storybook Bible may allow users to submit prompts, comments, preferences, uploaded materials, classroom materials, feedback, story selections, activity responses, or other content.
You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to the rights you grant us below.
By submitting content, you grant Storybook Bible a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, adapt, and use that content as needed to operate, improve, secure, personalize, and provide the services.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit any content you provide.
You are responsible for user content submitted through your account or by users you authorize.
12. Feedback
If you provide ideas, suggestions, corrections, feature requests, or other feedback, you allow Storybook Bible to use that feedback without restriction or compensation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
13. Intellectual Property
Storybook Bible, including its name, trademarks, logos, characters, product names, interfaces, generated assets, original stories, design systems, visual style, software, content collections, educational experiences, activities, and other materials, is owned by SparkTales Inc. or its licensors.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Storybook Bible intellectual property to you.
Subject to these Terms, SparkTales Inc. grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the services for personal, family, educational, classroom, or institution-approved purposes.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, create derivative products from, or commercially exploit Storybook Bible materials unless we give written permission.
14. Third-Party Content and Services
Storybook Bible may include or connect to third-party services, such as app stores, payment processors, analytics providers, AI providers, cloud hosting providers, authentication services, content tools, or external links.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Storybook Bible is not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.
15. Public Domain, Licensed, and Source-Inspired Content
Storybook Bible may use public domain works, licensed materials, historical sources, religious texts, cultural stories, user-provided materials, or AI-assisted transformations.
Where source material is public domain, SparkTales Inc. may still own original adaptations, illustrations, interfaces, activities, summaries, metadata, software, and generated assets created for Storybook Bible.
Where content is licensed, your rights are limited by those licenses.
16. Safety, Moderation, and Content Review
Storybook Bible may use automated and human review processes to help detect misuse, improve quality, maintain safety, enforce these Terms, protect children and students, and comply with law.
We may remove, restrict, modify, or decline to display content that we believe may violate these Terms, applicable law, safety standards, app store requirements, or educational suitability standards.
17. Changes to Services
Storybook Bible is an evolving product. We may add, change, suspend, discontinue, rename, replace, or limit features, content, subscriptions, apps, downloads, reader profiles, AI tools, activities, or integrations at any time.
We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not guarantee that any particular feature or content item will remain available forever.
18. Disclaimers
Storybook Bible is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the extent permitted by law, Storybook Bible disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, security, and error-free operation.
Storybook Bible does not guarantee that:
- Content will always be accurate, complete, or suitable for all users.
- AI-assisted outputs will be error-free.
- The services will always be available or uninterrupted.
- Downloads will remain available indefinitely.
- The services will meet the needs of every family, school, educator, institution, or reader.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, SparkTales Inc. and its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, licensors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, educational opportunity, or business opportunity.
To the extent permitted by law, SparkTales Inc.’s total liability for any claim relating to the services will not exceed the greater of:
- The amount you paid to Storybook Bible for the services in the three months before the claim arose; or
- CAD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.
20. Indemnity
If you use Storybook Bible on behalf of yourself, a family, school, classroom, organization, or institution, you agree to indemnify and hold SparkTales Inc. harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:
- Your misuse of the services.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of applicable law.
- Your submission of content without proper rights or authority.
- Your unauthorized use of student, child, classroom, or institutional information.
This section applies only to the extent permitted by law.
21. Termination
You may stop using Storybook Bible at any time.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, misused the services, failed to pay required fees, violated law, or caused harm to Storybook Bible, users, children, students, institutions, or third parties.
After termination, sections that by their nature should survive will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute provisions.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, unless otherwise required by consumer protection, child privacy, student privacy, or other applicable law.
Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in the Province of Ontario, Canada, unless applicable law requires another forum.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may provide notice through the app, website, account email, or other reasonable means.
Your continued use of Storybook Bible after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
24. Apple App Store — Licensed Application End User License Agreement
If you obtained the Storybook Bible application from the Apple App Store, the following terms also apply to your use of that application and form the End User License Agreement between you and SparkTales Inc.. These terms are also published on their own at storybookbible.app/eula.
Acknowledgement
This End User License Agreement is concluded between you and SparkTales Inc. only, and not with Apple Inc. SparkTales Inc., not Apple, is solely responsible for the Storybook Bible application and its content.
This agreement does not provide usage rules for the application that conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. In the event of a conflict, the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions govern.
Scope of License
You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the application on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the application may be accessed by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
This license does not allow you to use the application on any Apple-branded product that you do not own or control, and you may not distribute or make the application available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time.
Maintenance and Support
SparkTales Inc. is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for the application, as specified in this agreement or as required under applicable law. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services for the application.

Warranty
SparkTales Inc. is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent they are not effectively disclaimed.
In the event of any failure of the application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the application to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the application.
Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be SparkTales Inc.'s sole responsibility.
Product Claims
SparkTales Inc., not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims from you or any third party relating to the application or your possession and use of the application, including but not limited to:
- Product liability claims.
- Any claim that the application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement.
- Claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
Intellectual Property Rights
In the event of any third-party claim that the application or your possession and use of the application infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, SparkTales Inc., not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
Legal Compliance
You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Third-Party Terms of Agreement
You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the application, including your wireless data service agreement and the terms of any app store, payment provider, or authentication provider you use with the application.
Third-Party Beneficiary
Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this End User License Agreement. Upon your acceptance of these terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary.
